Dear Clients, GRI NOTIFICATION – JUN-25 The market has seen a softening of ocean rates from north and southeast Asia over the last few months. GRI’s that were announced for mid March never materialised and in fact, from most north and SEA ports, rates have reduced slightly since March. Carriers have commented that forward bookings have started to increase and combined with a still present and aggressive blank sailing program they are pushing increases from early Jun and mid Jun. Ultimately the strength of the market and bookings will determine if these GRI’s hold or not. As always, Transways will only be adjusting your pricing should the carriers apply the increases.
