Further to our recent communication in relation to industrial action @ VICT terminal in MELB, notice has been received as per the below.

Delays and disruption is anticipated.

Also, we have seen 1 x LCL provider apply a MELBOURNE PORT CONGESTION SURCHARGE. To date this is the only one we have seen in market, however it would not be a surprise to see Shipping lines apply "PORT CONGESTION SURCHARGES" like they have applied in SYDNEY.

We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you posted.

VICT have been notified by the MUA of Protected Industrial Action covering work bans and stoppages at their terminal as follows:

Stoppages

Stoppage for 4 hours commencing Tuesday 16^th February 16:00 to 20:00

Stoppage for 12 hours commencing Friday 19^th February 18:00 to Saturday 20^th February 06:00

Stoppage for 12 hours commencing Sunday 21^st February 06:00 to 18:00

Stoppage for 24 hours commencing Sunday 21^st February 18:00 to Monday 22^nd February 18:00 (rolling 32 hour stoppage)

Work Bans

Work ban by employees using personal mobile phones for work related matters for 48 hours, commencing from Friday 19^th February 06:00 to Sunday 21^st February 06:00.

Work ban on the performance of lashing work in any bay where a crane is operation for 1 week, commencing from Monday 22^nd February 18:00 to Monday 1^st March 18:00

Work ban on level 1, 2 and 3 employees engaging in operating quayside cranes when there’s no level 1 ship side supervisor directly working on the crane for 1 week, commencing from Monday 22^nd February 18:00 to Monday 1^st March 18:00

Work ban on level 1 ship side supervisors only working one quayside crane per shift for 1 week, commencing from Monday 22^nd February 18:00 to Monday 1^st March 18:00

Work ban on overtime an indefinite period, commencing from Monday 22^nd February 18:00

Work ban on level 1, 2 and 3 employees engaging in correcting work ques from the system for 24 hours, commencing from Saturday 20^th February 06:00 to Sunday 21^st February 06:00

Work ban on maintenance staff using tele-op equipment for 24 hours, commencing from Saturday 20^th February 06:00 to Sunday 21^st February 06:00

Work ban on interacting with any person performing work from a location outside of Australia for 24 hours, commencing from Saturday 20^th February 06:00 to Sunday 21^st February 06:00

Work ban by roadside employees answering the phone when required to operate the RC desk for 24 hours, commencing from Saturday 20^th February 06:00 to Sunday 21^st February 06:00
